As a controller at the Labor Market Administration, you will work with:

internal control
operational statistics
properties
vehicles
budget
monitoring
forecasting
analysis
project accounting
calculations
monthly closing
annual and interim closing
investigations
support to the administration's managers

Additionally, work with overarching financial management processes, primarily monitoring and closing work, will occur. Various investigations and side assignments will occur to varying degrees.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

a university degree in finance equivalent to a bachelor's degree and good knowledge of Excel and the remaining parts of Microsoft 365.
experience working as a controller with budget and forecasting work as well as management support, preferably from a politically governed organization.

To succeed in the role of controller, it is important that you have analytical skills and strategic thinking. You are results- and solution-oriented and have a good ability to structure your work. You enjoy taking initiative and driving your work forward while being meticulous. In the role, you need to have good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate and convey financial information clearly and simply. You are engaged and driven but also attentive and solution-focused.

We work strategically with initiatives that meet the needs of residents and the labor market. The administration's overarching main mission is to coordinate processes to help more individuals achieve sustainable self-sufficiency. Within the administration, there are Financial Assistance, the Labor Market Unit, Komvux, and Yrkeshögskolan Syd.
