Welcome to Sweden's most important job in Härryda municipality, located between Gothenburg and Borås with Landvetter Airport in the middle. Hindås School is situated in the center of Hindås, surrounded by lakes and forests, with good transport links to both Borås and Gothenburg. There are buses and trains close to the school. We have 220 students at the school and about 30 staff members who work together for the students' learning and development.

As part of this, we work at Hindås School with PALS, an evidence-based method to promote safety and a conducive learning environment. This year, our school-wide focus is on mathematics, where we work throughout the school day to strengthen each child's mathematical abilities.

Your Mission

You will be responsible, together with two colleagues, for the after-school program in a homogenous age group. During the school day, you will collaborate with teachers in your work team to support students in their development, both pedagogically and socially. Every week, you will co-plan with your colleagues to ensure that the teaching throughout the day is accessible to all students.

You will plan both individually and with colleagues for the department you are responsible for, and every week all teachers in the after-school program meet for category meetings for planning and quality development. You are expected to be an active participant who contributes your experience and has the opportunity to learn from others. A well-planned, executed, and evaluated after-school program linked to our governing documents is something you see as a given.

In addition, we expect you to actively develop learning environments for and with the students together with the work team, work independently when necessary and drive the operation forward, have a good ability to collaborate with colleagues and other staff at the school, have a good ability to create positive meetings and forms of collaboration with students, colleagues, and guardians, have good experiences and strategies regarding work with students in need of special support, know what a well-planned break and leisure time can do for each student and have experience and ideas for including and supporting students' social development.
