The Education Administration in Herrljunga Municipality is responsible for education from preschool to high school. Here you will work to create safety, development, and learning for children and youth.

In the municipality, there are preschools, pedagogical care, after-school programs, preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, high schools, adapted high schools, youth centers, and cultural schools. Preschools and after-school programs are available at all seven F–6 schools spread across the municipality.

Altorpskolan is the municipality's only 7–9 school and receives students from all F–6 schools. In Herrljunga town, you will also find Kunskapskällan, the municipality's high school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you have interest, willingness, and commitment to work with children and youth? Do you enjoy taking responsibility and can step in at short notice, even early in the mornings? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

We are now seeking substitutes for preschools, schools, and after-school programs. You control when you can work by entering your availability. As a substitute in Herrljunga Municipality, you will be called in at short notice and booked the same day to replace regular staff due to illness or meetings.

The work is varied, and no day is the same, making the role both challenging, educational, and developmental. Main job responsibilities:

• Supervise the children
• Support activities both indoors and outdoors
• Assist and encourage children in their development according to the curriculum
• Conduct your own lessons in school when needed

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is at least 18 years old
• Has great personal suitability and a genuine interest in working with children
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Works well in collaboration with both colleagues and guardians
• Having a driver's license and access to a car is an advantage, as it facilitates working at multiple preschools and schools.

No previous experience is required, but you must have a new and valid extract from the criminal record.

In Herrljunga Municipality, full-time is the norm with the possibility of part-time work. If full-time assignments are not available, it may mean that positions can be combined with other tasks or at another workplace.
