Do you want to be one of us in the Child Health Support Team? We are now looking for an engaged special educator who wants to make a real difference for the children in Nordost!

The Child Health Support Team is tasked with supporting preschool teachers, principals, and program managers in leading and developing child health work in preschools.

The support team consists of competent special educators, psychologists, speech therapists, and social workers, all working on behalf of the principal but led by the unit manager for Child Health.

Our primary mission is to provide educators and principals with the conditions and tools to create Sweden's best preschool. Through an inclusive approach, we work proactively and preventively for every child's right to a developing, safe, and professional learning environment.

As a special educator, you will:

Work based on applicable governing documents and task descriptions.
Work evidence-based based on current research and proven experience.
Work goal-oriented based on a model for systematic quality work.
Work closely with the geographic area of the principal team.
Support and challenge teams with a focus on approaches, responses, and the development of educational learning environments.

To succeed in your role as a special educator with us, you will receive continuous professional guidance and relevant professional development.

Qualifications

For the position, we are looking for someone who:

Has a degree in special education and a teaching license as a preschool teacher or teacher.
Is well-versed in the preschool curriculum and governing documents.

It is also advantageous if you have experience in:

Working as a special educator in preschool.
Roles as an overarching special educator in preschool.
Language-promoting methods, multilingualism, and intercultural work.

You are driven by a strong commitment to children's rights to equal upbringing conditions and enjoy working collaboratively with others towards common goals and tasks. To succeed in the role of special educator, you are stable and secure and can adapt your approach based on circumstances and expectations. As a person, you are humble, respectful, attentive, and considerate of others.

We plan to conduct interviews on 10/2, 12/2, and 13/2.
