JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to the small school in the countryside. At Värsås school, we hold knowledge high. We protect the student's right to education according to the Education Act and want every student to reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. We also want all students to feel safe and enjoy school. We work from a holistic view of each student's learning and development. Our guiding principles are knowledge, safety, and well-being.

As a teacher for the leisure home, you have a pedagogical mission that contributes to a stimulating and developing stay for the students throughout the school day. You will work in class during school hours and conduct teaching at the leisure home. Together with the educators at the leisure home, you will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on our governing documents. You are expected to be flexible, have an easy time collaborating, and be solution-focused.

In collaboration with school management and colleagues, you take joint responsibility for all the school's students and work to create safety and a good learning climate among the students and at the school.

Responsibilities as a teacher in the leisure home:

• To collaborate throughout the school day
• To plan and implement activities at the leisure home based on LGR22
• Supervision and care. Be a safe adult.
• Documentation, administration, and information.
• Contact with guardians
• Recess supervisor and leading recess activities
• Participate in educational meals
• Responsible for leading planning, implementation, and follow-up of the activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher for the leisure home. Work experience from leisure homes within schools is an advantage. You should be well-versed in the governing documents. We want you to be flexible, used to working in groups, and adapt well to different situations and people. You should have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You are an engaged, responsible, driven, and positive person who finds solutions to challenges. You are structured and at the same time creative and enjoy active and participatory work in the children's groups. You understand the importance of functioning relationships and good communication with the school's students and their guardians. You are self-sufficient but also value the importance of having good colleagues around you.

We would also like you to have qualifications in the subject of music.

We also welcome you who are a qualified primary school teacher for grades 1-3 to apply.

To start working in preschool, school leisure homes, and other educational activities, you must show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the National Police Board www.polisen.se (http://www.polisen.se).

Those who have not shown an extract from the criminal record cannot be employed, contracted, or received in the activity according to current legal requirements.
