We are now looking for reinforcement for our preschool, a wonderful workplace with a good atmosphere, where every individual is significant.

Mariagården is centrally located in Borås, close to both libraries and other culture, parks and playgrounds, a zoo, and forests. At our preschool, we see it as important to give children the opportunity to take part in the city's cultural life and therefore regularly visit these places.

The preschool has 5 departments, and we work in age-divided groups. We work with children's development and learning through both play and planned teaching, indoors and outdoors in our yard, in the forest, or in various parks and playgrounds.

For us at Mariagården preschool, it is important to work to ensure that children and guardians feel safe with us, and we work towards having the family in focus. We do this by planning and implementing both an introduction to preschool and teaching based on the individual's needs and interests. We see that the relationships that exist between children, between children and educators, and between guardians and educators are crucial for how well we achieve the goals of the operation, and therefore we are keen to create opportunities for dialogue.

We are working to develop our pedagogical work through collegial learning based on our unit's prioritized goals.

At our preschool, we believe that a rich language is of great importance for children's play and learning and also for children's opportunities to function as good citizens in a democratic society in the future. Therefore, we have had a special focus on language development alongside the preschool's prioritized areas, which this school year is about developing learning environments and developing preschool teaching within and through various aesthetic expressions.

We are looking for you who, together with engaged colleagues, want to drive and continue to develop our preschool. We place great importance on a working method that involves a low-arousal and clarifying approach towards both children and families. Through your work, you ensure that every child feels seen and has the opportunity to develop in a stimulating and safe environment where their needs are always at the center.

Your tasks include planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating play, activities, and teaching for children in preschool based on the preschool's curriculum. You should create both a physical and psychological environment that stimulates children's curiosity and desire to learn, as well as provides opportunities to succeed.

Collaboration with guardians to create good conditions for each child within the framework of our operations is seen as an important part of our mission, and you are expected to work on this through, for example, introductions to preschool for new children and guardians, development talks, and parent meetings.

As a preschool teacher, you have both individual and team responsibility for the preschool's education and teaching, and we create conditions for this by organizing for PUT.

We collaborate with other preschools in our area, child health teams, preschool classes, schools, and libraries and see collegial learning as a success factor.

Within the Preschool Administration, we have free pedagogical lunches, work clothes, and as a preschool teacher, you also have an average of five hours of planning time per week. We also offer a trained mentor if you are new to the profession, as well as opportunities for further education and collegial learning. We are looking for you with a preschool teacher's license who has a professional attitude and a humble and positive approach towards children, guardians, colleagues, and other partners.

We are looking for you who plan and implement your work based on the preschool's curriculum and children's needs, and who takes advantage of children's experiences and what they show interest in.

You should be flexible and independent, but also easy to collaborate. You see the work team as a strength and an asset, where together you can reflect on both the operation's and your own strengths, but also on the areas for development that exist.

To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have a good ability to create good collaborations and relationships with children, colleagues, guardians, and others you meet. You are responsible, have good self-leadership, and can create a safe and developing learning environment. We also see that you have the ability to be a good role model, both for children and adults.
