Elementary School Teacher at Hästhagenskolan in Lerum Municipality

Hästhagenskolan is located in Floda and is easily accessible via public transport. We focus on an accessible learning environment and use our local environment as part of our systematic quality work, where Green Flag goals and outdoor pedagogy are a natural part of everyday life at the school. Movement is prioritized through guided activities during breaks and movement pauses during lessons. Mathematics and Swedish teaching are also systematically followed up through digital screenings and collegial learning.
We operate based on distributed leadership, and the work team is the hub of the organization where you collectively make decisions regarding students' well-being and development.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The job responsibilities include planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on the curriculum. The teacher adapts the content according to students' needs and continuously evaluates their knowledge development. The work also involves close collaboration with colleagues to develop teaching, create a safe learning environment, and promote students' social and academic development. You should be able to work with students in need of special support and be a flexible employee who focuses on students' learning.
As part of the job responsibilities, close collaboration with both student health and the nearest work team is included.
The position is aimed at grade 3 as our current elementary school teacher will be on parental leave during the spring.
The position runs until the middle of the spring term 2027, with a possible extension until summer 2027.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is:
- Qualified elementary school teacher F-3
- It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with students in need of special support and have conducted national tests in grade 3.
