Sandeklev School in Bergsjön has approximately 350 students from preschool class to grade 9 and an after-school program.

We have good communication with trams 7 and 11, which stop at Teleskopgatan station, while being close to large green areas. The school systematically works on safety and study peace, resulting in both students and teachers thriving and finding a conducive work environment. We show a clear improvement in both student results and school attendance every term.

We are now looking for a certified teacher qualified to teach mathematics and science in grades 4-6! The position is a temporary position for the spring term of 2026.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a teaching team that collaboratively develops instruction and leadership in the classroom. The position also includes mentorship. Together with your colleagues, you create conditions for students' knowledge development to achieve the curriculum goals. You plan, implement, and evaluate the instruction and work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. In your work, you are responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' knowledge development.

To ensure that you, as a newly graduated teacher, get the best possible start in your career, you will be part of the School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction for newly graduated teachers. The introduction provides you with a network of other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for you who are a certified teacher and qualified to teach mathematics and science for grades 4-6. Previous experience in teaching is an advantage, but we also welcome you as a newly graduated teacher. As a newly graduated teacher, you will have the opportunity to participate in the School Administration's Teacher Academy. There, you will gain access to a network of other newly graduated teachers and be offered targeted activities that help and support you during your first year in the profession.

You have a positive view of people and the ability to create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. As a person, you also take your own initiatives and conduct a clear and situation-adapted leadership in the classroom.

As a teacher with us, you find it fun, stimulating, and developing to teach students who are in a second language development and give each student the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities. You are clear and precise in your communication and have the ability to motivate and inspire students to absorb new knowledge. You can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and have good knowledge of ICT as a pedagogical tool.
