The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, pedagogical care, after-school programs, preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, secondary schools, adapted secondary schools, municipal adult education, special education for adults, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), youth centers, and cultural schools.

Preschool and after-school activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, with geographical distribution throughout the municipality.

Altorpskolan, which is the only 7-9 school in the municipality, receives students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. The Knowledge Source, the municipality's secondary school, is also located in Herrljunga.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• After completing training as a PAX instructor, you will be responsible for educating and mentoring staff within the municipality's schools. Collaboration will occur with the school psychologist.
• After completing training in MHFA, educate staff in Mental Health First Aid. This will be done in collaboration with other personnel in central student health.
• You will be connected to the municipality's adapted primary schools where you will work as a special teacher both with teaching and conducting pedagogical assessments.
• You may also need to assist in other schools if reinforcement is needed for a limited period.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed special teacher.

You are confident in training colleagues.

As a teacher, you are engaged and a clear leader in the classroom. You are structured, flexible, and see collaboration as a natural prerequisite for the development of the organization. You have experience in organizing accessible learning environments.

We want you to be a person who takes the student's perspective in all situations and upholds the values of the curriculum. You are expected to be well-acquainted with applicable governing documents and open to collaboration. You see digital tools as natural aids and an integral part of teaching. A positive attitude is important to us, and we place great emphasis on personal qualities.

We prefer that you have a special teacher's degree with qualifications in adapted primary school, but welcome other applicants as well. You are skilled in written communication and have a knack for organization and planning.
