Strömstad Municipality is a small and close-knit organization where everyone is important and works together to deliver the best possible service.

The Culture School is part of the Child and Education Administration in Strömstad Municipality. The Culture School has about 500 course places and we offer activities for different ages and stages. In addition to subject teaching, we have recurring various types of trial activities. We offer different forms of artistic expression and provide our students with instruction at different levels. We also have orchestra and choir activities and annually offer a wide range of concerts, exhibitions, and performances.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged and versatile music teacher for our culture school!

As a music teacher with us, you will teach students of various ages and levels, both individually and in groups.

You will plan and conduct lessons with a focus on creating interest and learning among students. You actively work to promote students' musical development, both technically and artistically, and stimulate their creativity and expressive ability.

In your role, you will also participate in events and concerts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a broad musical competence who can teach multiple instruments. You have a pedagogical education with a focus on music or equivalent experience. We are looking for someone who can complement our current offerings, and it is an advantage if you have specific experience with wind instruments. You will work with students of various ages and levels, both individually and in groups.

You are a flexible person who can create engagement and joy in your teaching. You have a strong student focus and find it easy to communicate with the target group.

We are looking for a colleague who is attentive, engaged, and has an easy time building good relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues.

The position is a permanent part-time position at 50% with a start date according to agreement.
