We are looking for short-term substitutes for preschools

Do you want to work in preschool? We are looking for you who are engaged and flexible.

You will have the opportunity to work as a short-term substitute for up to 200 LAS days.

In order for us to hire you as a short-term substitute, you need to:
Present approved grades in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1 at the high school level, or alternatively complete a language assessment with a passing result.

Job Responsibilities

The preschool should stimulate children's development and learning and provide children with safe care. A preschool is normally conducted in special preschool facilities. In the preschool, preschool teachers and childcare workers work. The preschool has its own curriculum that it works from.

As a short-term substitute, you will be called in when the operations need substitutes. The number of positions varies according to need.

  • Ability to work at least 3–4 days/daytime/week

We place great value on you being calm and stable, even in stressful situations, reliable, having empathetic ability, and being at least 18 years old.

What do you need to do?

  • Submit references. These should be individuals in managerial positions. If you do not have a manager reference, you can send a reference from a practical placement or teacher.
  • Applicants for short-term substitutes in preschool are required to submit a criminal record extract before employment. For positions where a license/valid proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare for protected professional titles is required, this must be submitted before employment.

Language assessment is conducted for certain professional groups before employment can be considered.

Criminal record checks are conducted for all employment within the social services.

For employment within HVB operations, the HVB home extract is requested.

For employment in services aimed at children with disabilities, extracts for children with disabilities and verification of personal information are requested.

For other employment within social services, the extract for verification of personal information is requested.

If the extract is not digital, it must be brought in an unopened envelope during the verification.

Employment is subject to necessary decisions being made. For positions where the work involves direct and regular contact with children and young people, as well as for operations within LSS, care and support, health and medical care, psychiatric care, and addiction treatment, a valid extract from the police's criminal record must be presented or submitted before employment. Please note that it may take time to obtain the extract, so order it in good time to avoid delays in the recruitment process.
