Job Responsibilities

Angeredsgymnasiet is a high school with both national and introductory programs, as well as a National Gymnasium for students with mobility impairments. As a special educator, you will be part of Angeredsgymnasiet's central student health team alongside school nurses, special educators, and counselors. Together, you will work preventively and promote good learning environments and support students' development towards educational goals. The work involves both strategic and operational efforts where you contribute special educational expertise to the school's development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a special education degree and teaching certification for upper secondary school. You have experience working in upper secondary school.

You have good digital competence and use digital tools in your planning and teaching. You have a strong ability to work consultatively and to guide educators on issues related to learning, accessible learning environments, and adaptations in teaching. You are analytical, structured, and have a solution-focused approach.

You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and create conditions for learning to occur. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different audiences and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.

You have the ability to work collaboratively with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you contribute to a respectful work climate. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole.
