Sylteskolan is a K-9 school where Trollhättan's adapted primary school is integrated.

We work based on a common holistic view, values, and approach for strong leadership in the classrooms. Clear routines and adaptation of teaching are guiding stars in our operations. Responsibilities

Do you want to make a difference – for real? We are looking for a qualified teacher in Mathematics and Science for grades 7–9 who is passionate about creating an education where all students are given the opportunity to succeed.

As a teacher with us, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in mathematics and science, as well as work with clear leadership structures, formative assessment, and adaptations that benefit the whole group.
• Actively contribute to collegial learning and development within subject teams. Your role as a mentor is important for creating trusting relationships with students and guardians. To succeed in creating a health-promoting school, we expect teachers to closely collaborate with student health services and other professionals to strengthen students' learning and well-being.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching license with qualifications in Mathematics and Science for grades 7–9.
• Believes in the school's compensatory mission and has a solution-focused and curious attitude.
• Sees clear expectations, leadership, and relationship-building as the foundation of teaching.
• Is confident in adapting and varying instruction so that more students reach their goals.

Employment Information

The position is permanent, subject to teaching certification based on the sought-after qualifications. Interviews/recruitment will be ongoing. A background check is mandatory when working with children.
