Do you want to work at a school where knowledge, education, and ambition are at the center? JENSEN Gymnasium in Gothenburg is now seeking a team-focused mathematics teacher who wants to help prepare our students for the real world. We are a team of competent and cohesive teachers and school leaders located on Stora Nygatan in central Gothenburg. We focus on literature, reading, and writing skills required for higher education. Our goal is for our students to reach a high level of knowledge and develop their thinking by thinking freely and broadly. We believe it is important to have a collegial consensus regarding the setup of teaching, assessment, and feedback. As a teacher, you will be part of both program teams and subject teams, but you will of course also have the opportunity to influence the teaching setup. At our school, students get real-world training through role-playing, study visits, and during our program team days. We are an Erasmus+ school, which means we have several exchanges with schools in other countries every year. We are also proud to be an EPAS school, an EU Junior Ambassador school.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified upper secondary school teacher in mathematics. You enjoy your work and are driven by seeing your students reach their full potential. You adapt your teaching method based on students' needs, prior knowledge, and individual goals. You are a natural and clear leader in the classroom with good structure. Being a team player is important to you, and you have a creative way of solving challenges. We also appreciate if you share our passion for health and development.

Terms

The position is a temporary assignment for the autumn term 2026 (August 6 to December 18) with the possibility of extension for the spring term. The scope is 80-100% by agreement. The start date is August 6, 2026.
