Hulebäck High School was built in 1995 and has an excellent reputation in the region. Today, approximately 1,900 students attend eleven different upper secondary programs, including introductory, vocational, and university-preparatory tracks. The school is characterized by engaged staff, high well-being, good resources, and satisfied students.

Your Assignment

In preparation for the next academic year, we are seeking a teacher in psychology and sociology who will primarily work within the Social Sciences Program. You will be part of a teaching team and serve as a mentor.

Additional tasks may be assigned based on needs.

Requirements for the Position

We are looking for someone who has, or will soon obtain, a teaching license and qualification to teach psychology in combination with sociology at the upper secondary level. As the behavioral science focus within the Social Sciences Program is growing, we prefer candidates with experience teaching multiple subjects/courses relevant to this focus, as well as experience teaching advanced courses in psychology and/or sociology. It is an advantage if you have worked in teaching teams and have experience as a class mentor.

To obtain employment, a criminal record check from the Police must be presented.

You should enjoy collaboration and have the willingness to drive pedagogical development at Hulebäck High School together with others. We expect you to work formatively to give students good conditions to reach their goals, and to be able to adapt teaching to both the group and the individual. You should be accustomed to using computers as a pedagogical aid and administrative support and possess good digital competence.
