Teaching in Wood and Metal Craft

In this role, you will be part of the Sector for Children and Education. Our focus is on the development of children and young people. JOB DUTIES

The position involves teaching at three schools in Skövde municipality: Värsås, Sventorps, and Frösve schools. In this role, you will:

• Plan and conduct lessons in wood and metal craft for grades 3-6 according to the curriculum goals.
• Assess, document, and provide feedback on students' development, as well as establish pedagogical plans and individual adaptations as needed.
• Be responsible for safety and working environment in the craft room (machine handling, tools, storage of materials).
• Collaborate in work teams and with the school's student health, special teachers, and guardians to promote students' learning and safety. Participate in development work, further education, and administration related to subject teaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a good ability to plan, lead, and structure teaching for students of different ages and with varying needs.
• You have knowledge of safety procedures, machines, and materials in wood and metal craft.
• You have a pedagogical approach and can adapt teaching so that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
• You are confident in assessing and documenting students' knowledge development.
• You collaborate well with colleagues, student health, and guardians and contribute to a professional and positive working climate.
• You communicate clearly in speech and writing and have good digital competence.
• You are a certified teacher in wood and metal craft or have other relevant education and experience.

To start working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other educational activities, you must show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and is ordered from the Swedish Police Authority www.polisen.se (http://www.polisen.se).

Those who have not shown an extract from the criminal record cannot be employed, contracted, or received in the activity according to current legal requirements.
