Description

At Glöstorpsskolan, we are looking for a certified teacher in home economics and another subject, preferably Swedish and/or Swedish as a second language.

Currently, Glöstorpsskolan is a grades 7-9 school with just over 300 students. The school includes two special education groups, (SU groups), Nova and Nedergård. Starting from the autumn term of 2026, Glöstorpsskolan will become a grades 4-9 school as grades 4-6 from Gunnestorpsskolan and Tångenskolan will become part of Glöstorpsskolan.

Responsibilities

With us, you will be offered a varied job where you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching. Together with your colleagues, you will design an enjoyable and varied teaching experience with a focus on student learning. The work takes place in teams in close collaboration with colleagues, but you will also collaborate with other educators, student health, guardians, and, if necessary, other actors outside the school.

In your role as a teacher with us, your main task is to spark curiosity and create an environment where every student feels seen and included. Through inspiring leadership, you will draw out students' inherent creativity and encourage them to think in new ways and develop their knowledge as far as possible.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in home economics with the qualification to teach grades 7-9. It is an advantage if you have the qualification to teach Swedish or Swedish as a second language, as well as additional subjects.

We seek an engaged educator with the ability to create trusting relationships with students. You are flexible and can adapt to all everyday and long-term changes that are part of the educational work. You have a good ability to take responsibility for your tasks.

Furthermore, you are meticulous, work focused, and care about details. You ensure that the work is done correctly. You check and follow up on your work to ensure that it maintains a high quality.
