With us, you make a real difference every day, in a culture characterized by courage, commitment, and opportunities to grow, both professionally and personally.

The Learning Sector works for a cohesive and inclusive learning experience for all - from the youngest to adults. Together, we create a culture where participation, safety, and high expectations are at the center. Through collaboration, language, and presence, we lay the foundation for goal fulfillment and lifelong learning.

Ulrikaskolan is a well-renowned F-6 school centrally located in Ulricehamn, right next to Lassalyckan and scenic forest areas. From our school, both students and staff have easy access to greenery, outdoor activities, and sports opportunities - something that permeates our pedagogy and values. The school currently has about 370 students from preschool to grade 6. We offer after-school activities and have four departments distributed according to age mix, two for grades F-1 and two for grades 2-6. Our student health team consists of a special educator, special teacher, school nurse, and counselor, and we hold regular collaboration meetings to ensure comprehensive support for our students.

Starting in the autumn term of 2027, we will inaugurate the new F-6 school Björkås. In connection with this, Ulrikaskolan will be converted into a 7-9 school. Ulrikaskolan, which will be the origin of Björkås' organization and working methods, is characterized by high staff qualifications and good goal fulfillment. Four lead teachers drive the systematic quality work and ensure continuous development of teaching. In our flexible unit, educators work closely with class teachers and the student health team to create flexible and adaptable learning environments. This allows us to truly meet each student based on their individual circumstances and needs. Ulrikaskolan is also home to an adapted primary school, with its own principal and student health team.
