Description

We are looking for a teacher at Härlandatjärnskolan who is qualified to teach crafts (both types of crafts) grades 3-9 and social studies with qualifications to teach grades 7-9.

Härlandatjärnskolan is a newly built school welcoming students from the autumn term of 2022. The school will have approximately 560 students from grade F-9 when fully developed. The school is located in a beautiful natural setting by Härlanda Lake, close to forest and lake. The location combined with the interior environment, where there has been a real effort to design learning environments that provide students with a fantastic working environment, is unique in many ways.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of a team of teachers working with students at Härlandatjärnskolan. Together with your colleagues, you will create conditions for students' knowledge development, to achieve the goals of the curriculum and course syllabuses. Together, you will be responsible for planning, documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' development. You and your colleagues will work to design an enjoyable and varied school day with students' best interests in focus. The work also involves collaboration with other educators, student health services, parents, other staff, and other actors outside the school. The position will include mentorship for students in the upper grades.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher in crafts with qualifications to teach both types of crafts, grades 3-9. You should also be a licensed teacher in social studies with qualifications to teach grades 7-9. If you have experience working with GSFE and other digital platforms, that is a significant advantage.
