About Us

The Catholic School of Notre Dame educates and shapes approximately 350 students from preschool to grade 9 and also operates a preschool, all within the same geographical area in Örgryte. The school has a 150-year tradition and is one of three Catholic schools in Sweden.

Our students come from all over Gothenburg through an active choice and represent about 70 nationalities and around 40 languages. The school is thus a strong environment for integration and inclusion.

Our Christian values mean that we meet each student as a whole person – body and soul – without distinction. Our mission is summarized in: Faith, Learning, Community.

About the Position

As a school host, you are a central function in the school's work with safety, well-being, study environment, as well as attendance and absence. You work closely with the students throughout the school day and play a key role in creating a well-functioning school environment.

· Act as a link between school management and educational activities, including providing grounds for decisions in, for example, disciplinary matters.

· Maintain the school's safety and equal treatment work in accordance with regulations.

· Have ongoing contact with guardians in student matters as needed.

Qualifications

· Documented leadership and relationship skills.

· Experience working with children and youth, preferably in a school environment.
