Description

Nordlyckeskolan is a secondary school with approximately 435 students organized into three grade-level teams.

All students have a laptop, and Google tools such as Classroom and Drive are used in teaching, as well as the city's Vklass. Nordlyckeskolan is an Olweus school, and we have been successful in creating a safe and tolerant working environment for both youth and staff.

The students at Nordlyckeskolan want to succeed in their studies, and there is a strong commitment both at school and at home. Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a teacher in Swedish and SO (geography, history, religion, and social studies). You will be responsible for planning and implementing teaching as well as grading in grade 7. You will be part of an engaged and supportive team composed of teachers who teach in grade 7. Together with a colleague, you will have mentoring responsibility for a class in grade 7. Nordlyckeskolan's profile, health, gives you opportunities to work across subjects while also allowing you to focus on aspects within your subjects that strengthen our students in their life choices.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach Swedish and SO (geography, history, religion, and social studies) at the secondary level.

It is important to us that you are a good role model, that you enjoy working with youth, and that you are genuinely interested in didactic challenges of both analog and digital nature.

As a person, you have a good understanding of how individuals absorb knowledge and their different conditions. By listening, showing interest, and respect, you work well with others. You adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation, ensuring that your message gets across.
