Teacher in Architecture at Mimers Hus Gymnasium

We at Mimers Hus Gymnasium are looking for an engaged and driven teacher for the Technology Program to be responsible for the specialization in Community Building and Environment.

As part of our team, you will have the chance to inspire and guide the technical talents of the future with a focus on sustainable community development.

Mimers Hus Gymnasium was inaugurated in 2004 and is an attractive municipal high school located in the heart of Kungälv, which is just over 20 kilometers north of Gothenburg, easily accessible by express bus. Currently, 1500 students are enrolled in twelve national programs, both vocational and academic preparatory, as well as introductory programs. In addition, the school offers a sports profile at local and national levels within all programs and UF in several. We have 180 engaged and competent staff at the school.

Responsibilities

As a teacher with us, you will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching according to the school's governing documents, both independently and together with your work and subject teams. The role also involves contributing to the development of the Technology Program where you will teach architecture and possibly another subject. Additionally, mentoring students is included where you work closely with the school's student health team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach at the high school level in architecture and another subject. Experience in teaching is meritorious but not a requirement.

You have a strong interest in technology and want to contribute to the development of the Technology Program. You are cooperative, engaged, and flexible with the ability to adapt teaching to the needs of the students. You have a positive attitude and the ability to act in line with the school's values and governing documents.
