With its 150-year tradition, the Catholic School of Notre Dame shapes 350 students, from preschool to grade 9, into well-rounded individuals in body and soul. The school is centrally located in beautiful Örgryte, close to culture and the activities offered in the city.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for sharp educators who are not afraid to question their own experience on a scientific basis to then build a collegial evidence-based experience. We see that you continuously refine your skills based on research and available literature and can account for the pedagogical choices you make in the classroom. The Catholic School summarizes the teacher's professional practice with three competencies - leadership competence, subject didactic competence, and relational competence - as a synthesis of a long list of studies on the subject. Please consider how your profile within these three competencies looks and present that when you apply.

You have a Swedish teacher's license with qualifications in English. You have experience in meeting students and families from diverse backgrounds and are comfortable working in a multicultural environment. You are used to working in a team and contribute positive ideas and energy. You are proactive, self-driven, collaborative, creative, and see challenges as an opportunity to grow as a teacher. You are familiar with and comfortable with the teachings of the Catholic Church.

We will place particular emphasis on personal suitability and interest in driving and developing the operations.

This is a temporary position for one school year, as one staff member will be on leave during the 26-27 school year.
