Responsibilities

Hvitfeldtska Gymnasium is looking for a teacher in leadership and organization, psychology, and another subject. The position is full-time starting in August 2026. It is a merit if the other subject is Japanese. Teaching will take place in national programs, and mentorship for a class is also included. The final subject combination will depend on the applicants' subject combinations and final allocation of positions.

You will support, motivate, and stimulate students to achieve their knowledge goals based on their individual circumstances. You will work together with teaching colleagues in both work teams and subject groups, as well as with other staff to ensure a good learning and working climate for our students and staff. You will actively participate in the school's development work.

Qualifications

A teaching degree and teaching certification are required, as well as eligibility to teach the relevant subjects at the upper secondary level.

We expect you to have good teaching experience and to be able to apply formative assessment. We also want you to be creative in utilizing digital tools as a natural part of teaching. We also assume that you are accustomed to using a computer for administrative support in your work.

You are independent and structured, and you are good at planning, prioritizing, and following up on your work. Your communication skills are strong, and your joy in teaching is evident! Since collegial learning is important to us, we would like you to be a team player who values collaboration.
