Description

Yrkesgymnasiet is looking for a certified vocational teacher in restaurant, and we also welcome applicants with at least five years of work experience in the restaurant industry. With us, students learn a profession from the ground up in real workplaces with experienced supervisors. In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge.

More than half of the students' education time takes place in a workplace, providing them with a solid foundation and an advantage in the job market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future professional lives with the support of their supervisors and engaged educators.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in the restaurant industry or has at least five years of experience in the profession and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.

• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between school, students, and the business community.

• Has a B driver's license and preferably access to a personal vehicle.

• Has the ability to work independently while also being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future professional lives.

Qualifications

Teaching degree or solid experience in the restaurant industry and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation.

Teaching certification and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
