Preschool Teacher Substitute Wanted at Soldatängen Preschool

One of our preschool teachers will be on parental leave during the next school year, and we are looking for someone who wants to be a substitute preschool teacher in a team with another preschool teacher and a childcare worker.

At Soldatängen Preschool, we work with sustainability in various forms, socially, environmentally, and economically. You will work according to the curriculum and assignment description with documentation, reflection, and plan activities based on all children's needs and interests, allowing every child to become their best self.

Your New Workplace

Soldatängen Preschool has been working with sustainability and collaboration as prioritized development areas for several years, contributing to a sense of community where we help each other and utilize our competencies effectively across the preschool. You will belong to a team with both preschool teachers and childcare workers, but we also want you to be open to collaborating with educators from the other five departments in various ways for collegial learning. Children, educators, and the principal are proud of our preschool, and we are now waiting for you!

The preschool is located in a picturesque area in Sävedalen, with the forest right at our doorstep. Where the yard ends, the forest begins, inviting us to leave the preschool and explore our surroundings together with the children. We prioritize dividing the group of children into smaller contexts throughout the day; indoors/outdoors, in activities, and in various routine situations.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher with experience in the role.

As a preschool teacher, we believe you will bring new ideas that can be implemented in practice with good results. You listen and communicate constructively, both with your colleagues and with the children and their guardians. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating, with an interest, willingness, and ability to collaborate with others. We believe you can quickly adapt and adjust to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
