As a teacher, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating structured teaching in a Year 5 class at the intermediate stage. We aim for you to have as broad a qualification as possible to ensure the best possible sense of security for the students. You will stimulate and motivate students to develop and fulfill your pedagogical duties in accordance with current curriculum documents.

You will join the intermediate stage team together with other educators, where you will jointly create a safe and pedagogically developing environment.

About the employer

Brandströmska skolan is run by the Foundation for Christian School Activities. The foundation is non-profit, and the school is confessional and has been in existence for 35 years. We operate a school based on Christian principles without affiliation to any specific denomination. The school is a K-9 school with approximately 420 students. We have around 20 students per class. The students come mostly from the northeastern districts of Gothenburg.

We prioritize work regarding language development, inclusion, and safety & study atmosphere. We also believe it is important to build good relationships with our students.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who holds a teaching license and is well-versed in the curriculum and other current regulatory documents. You find it easy to translate theory into practical action in your work with children. Naturally, you are passionate about children's development and learning.

You value human diversity and wish to be an active participant in the school's work on values.

You are secure and stable. You possess great social confidence in your interactions with students, parents, and colleagues. You contribute to a positive collaborative climate in the workplace.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
