Gullstensskolan is seeking an after-school care teacher who wants to help develop our after-school program in our new, modern facilities. Here, you will meet a positive, cohesive team and an operation where students' safety, creativity, and participation are at the center. The position is combined with work in the preschool class alongside an experienced colleague, offering both variety and excellent opportunities to grow in your profession.
The after-school center has recently moved into newly renovated premises with easy access to both craft and home economics rooms, providing the conditions to create stimulating and creative learning environments. Your closest colleagues are positive, driven, and always focus on the best interests of the students. This autumn, we are introducing the 'After-School Vision', where parts of the after-school staff will be responsible for break activities and provide support in the corridors and other contexts where needs arise. This has long been a wish of the team and is finally becoming a reality.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As an after-school care teacher, you will work with students aged 6–12, from children just starting their school journey to students in grade 6. Your responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting varied after-school activities both indoors and outdoors.
- Being responsible for break activities that strengthen students' social development.
- Working in the preschool class in close collaboration with an experienced colleague.
- Contributing to goal achievement in both the after-school program and the preschool class.
- Being an active part of the school's common mission and development.
- Actively promoting good cooperation with parents/guardians.
- Working to create a safe, developmental, and stimulating environment for the students.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are an educated after-school care teacher, preschool teacher, or primary school teacher and who wants to work or try working in after-school care and the preschool class. You have a clear desire to contribute to students' safety, development, and learning, and you always work with the children's best interests in focus.

- Is independent, creative, and goal-oriented.
- Has excellent ability to collaborate and build good relationships.
- Can create safety and structure in teaching and activities.
- Has engagement and a desire to develop the operation together with colleagues.
