Montessori School Casa is run by the non-profit foundation Stiftelsen Casa dei Bambini. We are a small and highly appreciated institution beautifully located in Bö, central Gothenburg. We operate both a preschool and a primary school (grades F–9) with approximately 280 children and students and around 50 employees. Since most teachers have completed advanced training in special education, it is our ambition to gradually provide all teachers with the same foundation through continuous professional development.

At Casa, both children and adults are driven by a shared conviction: that development is possible for everyone and that challenges are meant to be overcome. Our pedagogical foundation rests on the Montessori method, with the goal of laying a solid foundation for future, responsible global citizens.

Collegial learning is a central part of our operations, and we prefer to work thematically and across subjects. We focus on accessible and inclusive learning environments based on current research and proven experience.

Qualifications:

• We are seeking a candidate with a teaching degree (primary school teacher for grades 4-6).
• Experience with Montessori pedagogy is a plus, and curiosity about our pedagogy is a requirement.

• You are responsive and have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge, and can adapt your way of conveying messages to the recipient.
• You see opportunities in change and can adapt to changed circumstances.
• You have good communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Digital competence.

Employment:

• Permanent position, 100%.
• Start date: August 3, 2026, or by mutual agreement.
• Includes vacation pay.
