About the workplace
Angered High School is a secondary school offering both national and introductory programs, as well as a national program for students with mobility impairments. Job responsibilities
As a teacher with us, you will have a varied and meaningful role where teaching is combined with close work supporting students in need of assistance. The assignment involves working from a supportive pedagogical approach, where you play a key role in creating accessible and inclusive learning environments.
As a support pedagogue, you work closely with students in need of special support and are an important part of the school's safety team. Together, you work preventively and promotively to create good learning environments and support students in their study situations, both individually and in groups. You will teach your own courses. Work to create motivation and contribute to increased attendance, participate in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of support measures. You collaborate with teachers, student welfare services, and external actors. Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
The role involves both practical support in daily life and pedagogical development work together with colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a teaching license in Mathematics and Religion. You have experience working in secondary schools with a focus on preparatory programs. You work safely and efficiently with digital tools and use them as a natural part of both planning and teaching.
You have a good ability to work consultatively and to mentor pedagogues on issues concerning learning, accessible learning environments, and adaptations in teaching. You are analytical, structured, and have a solution-focused approach.
You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and you create the conditions for learning to take place. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different recipients and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.
You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you promote a respectful work climate. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole.
