JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a creative and engaged leisure teacher who wants to help develop our leisure activities for students in grades F6. You have training as a leisure teacher or leisure educator. At Rydskolan, there are currently eight positions within the leisure center. We work in teams of two in four departments, which have appropriate facilities specifically dedicated to leisure activities. Here, you will meet a professional and collaborative team where we value good relationships, joy at work, and a shared commitment to making students' leisure time both meaningful and developmental. To support collegial collaboration, we have a shared workspace for all leisure educators, which facilitates idea exchange, dialogue, and planning in everyday life. Additionally, we have common conference time every week that allows for structured co-planning, follow-up, and organizational development. There are also good opportunities for collaboration with the school's other staff groups, such as classroom teachers, student health, and management, which contributes to a holistic view of students' development and well-being. This year's systematic quality work shows that we need to strengthen our language and knowledge development work throughout the school, including the leisure center. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to help drive this work forward with the student's best interests in focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a leisure teacher. In the role of responsible for a student group in leisure, we see that you have a good ability to build secure and trusting relationships with both students and guardians. You are well acquainted with the curriculum's goals and intentions and have the ability, willingness, and drive to translate them into a meaningful, developmental, and stimulating activity for the students.

To start working in preschool, school, leisure centers, and other educational activities, you must show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and is ordered from the National Police Board www.polisen.se.

Those who have not shown an extract from the criminal record may not be employed, contracted, or received in the activity according to current legal requirements.
