Ekegården Preschool is located in Sandhult, close to forests and nature, playgrounds, and Sandhult School (F-6). The preschool has four departments, one of which is located at Sandhult School. Here you will be welcomed into an organization where participation and clarity are important components for creating a good working climate, and where we share and learn together. At Ekegården Preschool, we work to utilize children's experiences and knowledge to develop our education. Together, we conduct teaching that challenges and stimulates children's curiosity, development, and desire to learn both indoors and outdoors. We learn from each other and have the child's best interests at heart. It is important for us that the children feel safe and that they thrive. We are co-discovering and present educators with the goal of daring to say yes and maintaining a positive attitude.

Ekegården Preschool has prioritized "Movement and Health" for the 2025/2026 school year. Daily outdoor activities in the forest and fields are a natural part of our operations, as the forest is our closest neighbor.

We collaborate with, among others, child health teams, preschool classes, and libraries, and see collegial learning as an important part of developing our operations.

As a preschool teacher at Ekegården Preschool, you, along with your work team and colleagues, are responsible for working purposefully based on the goals outlined by the work team. You will plan, implement, analyze, and evaluate the activities in accordance with current governing documents. The analysis will then serve as the basis for further developing the activities based on the preschool curriculum and the prioritized goals of the operations.

You actively work to promote children's ability to participate and exert influence over their education by listening to children's perceptions, opinions, and needs. Your schedule includes designated time for pedagogical development, which allows for reflection within the work team, collegial learning, and individual planning. You will be part of one of the preschool's three organizational groups together with educators from the other departments.

Within the Preschool Administration, we offer free pedagogical lunches, work clothes, and as a preschool teacher, you will also have an average of five hours of planning time per week. We also provide a trained mentor if you are new to the profession, as well as opportunities for further education and collegial learning. We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher's license, or alternatively has a preschool teacher degree and is awaiting their license, and who wants to explore and discover with the children at Ekegården. It is advantageous if you have experience or education in TAKK and visual support. We also appreciate a genuine interest in movement and activities.

As an educator, you are engaged, innovative, creative, and see play as your primary tool for lifelong learning. You are a good team player who is skilled at collaborating and actively participates in developing the operations. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude towards everyone you meet, thus contributing to creating trusting relationships.

We also see that you have good digital skills as the digital is our primary tool for documentation and systematic quality work.
