The Nature Schools Axevalla Horse Center, Svenljunga, Sötåsen, Uddetorp, and the Biological Vocational College serve as competence centers for the growth and development of the green sector. Together with the business community and researchers, the administration drives energy projects and cutting-edge experimental activities at the schools. The Nature Management Administration is part of the Västra Götaland Region.

Description

We are expanding our operations and need more employees for a fantastic team.

The adapted high school at Nature School Sötåsen includes about 45 students and 15 staff. The operation focuses on students' learning and development through high expectations and trust in the student's abilities. We offer an environment where both heart and mind can take space. As part of the team at the adapted high school, you will have the opportunity to work in a group where cooperation, helpfulness, and engagement are key principles. All students are everyone's students, which means you are never alone with a challenge but are also expected to contribute to the whole.

Responsibilities

As a student assistant at the adapted high school, you will work as a resource both in class, at group level, and with individual students. The work is primarily located within the school unit, but it may also occur that you work with support for students during APL (workplace-based learning). Your role as a student assistant is to be a tool for students to be able to benefit from the teaching in the best way possible, whether it is about creating security, providing reading or writing support, or being present during meal situations.

Qualifications

You should have a genuine interest in working with people with intellectual disabilities and be interested in individual learning and development.

You should have a B driver's license.

Meritorious:

teacher education or some other type of pedagogical education
practical experience of low-arousal approaches

Conditions

Fixed-term employment for the year 2026 with the possibility of extension, 75% employment rate, vacation service. Start date according to agreement. Selection and interview work may take place continuously, so apply today.
