Da Vinciskolan – Where learning is close!

At Da Vinciskolan, you will have the chance to work with dedicated and ambitious colleagues and inspiring young people in grades 7 to 9. The school has fantastic facilities in a beautiful building designed by Gert Wingårdh. But what is truly wonderful is all the activity that takes place inside the building. Da Vinciskolan is part of Ale Kulturrum, and the building also houses the municipal library, a youth center, and Ale cultural school.

At Da Vinciskolan, teachers are organized into teams and actively work to develop the operations. We know the importance of meeting our students' curiosity, creativity, and desire to learn in ways that inspire and engage both them and us. We always strive to create the best possible conditions for all our students, even those who challenge us the most. And we do it together! Teachers, principals, team leaders, development leaders, a strong student health team, resource educators, and a competent and present administration form the team you will be a part of.

We believe that learning happens in many ways and therefore place great importance on our students having the opportunity to participate in both sports and cultural activities. We are also proud to have an engaged student council that helps us improve our school. At Da Vinciskolan, we believe in common rules and traditions. We follow them to build safety and well-being. Da Vinciskolan is located in central Nödinge within walking distance to the train station. The train takes you easily to and from central Gothenburg.

Job Responsibilities

As a substitute teacher, you will fill in where needed. Depending on our needs, the assignment may vary, but you want to contribute and make a difference for the students.

Qualifications

To fulfill the assignment, a completed high school education is required. You can and want to stand in front of a class of young people, give instructions, answer questions, and be an adult in the classroom. You are clear and quickly adapt to the school's routines and approaches. You easily create social relationships with both students and colleagues at the school. Since the assignments will vary, you are flexible and willing to be where the need is. You value working with young people.

It is an advantage if you are studying to become a certified teacher and want to work alongside your studies.
