Dalängskolan is a school for grades 7-9 located in the western part of Lidköping.

Our vision is “Dalängen – GOLD!”.

Job Description

The position consists of teaching music.

Your main task is to challenge students in their learning and support them in their knowledge development towards set goals, together with colleagues in work teams and subject teams. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching, you will work with colleagues to develop the school based on prioritized development areas.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with the authority to teach music in grades 7-9.

We are looking for someone who is well acquainted with the subject's purpose, abilities, and knowledge requirements and is well-informed about the school's view of knowledge and value foundation mission. You have good knowledge and competence in digital and formative learning processes.

We would like you to be interested in and have experience with language-developing approaches in the classroom. You have the ability to motivate and create learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation, and interactivity. You have the ability to see and meet each student and start from what works.

You see opportunities in working interdisciplinary in collaboration with others. Your learning in collegial learning is a given. You reflect on and analyze your own teaching as a natural part of your practice. You have a strong commitment in the classroom and take great responsibility in your work.

You have a very good ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are communicative and creative. We would like you to be willing to think and try new things together with others.

Conditions

Permanent employment 80-100% starting August 2026 or by agreement.
