Description

Do you want to help create a safe, inspiring, and developmental leisure activity for our students at Annedal School? We are currently looking for a driven and dedicated leisure teacher with a focus on music.

Annedal School is a F-6 school with just over 330 students. The school was built in 1883 in the district and has been completely renovated in recent years. You can find the school below the steep slope of Guldhedsbergen at Nilssonsberg and Skanstorget, all with proximity to nature, culture, and transportation. At Annedal School, we work with the PALS school model, which means that we systematically focus on recognizing positive behavior and that we adults act as positive role models.

Responsibilities

As a leisure teacher, you are responsible for planning, developing, and following up on the educational activities based on the curriculum chapters 1, 2, and 4. You will be part of a team together with the leisure and primary school teachers in your grade. The role also includes teaching in one of the school's practical aesthetic subjects.

In the mornings, you are an active part of the school's activities and collaborate with other staff to support students' learning and development in the classroom. In the afternoons, you lead the leisure activities together with a qualified colleague, where you jointly plan and implement activities that stimulate students' development and learning during their leisure time.

You document and follow up on students' development and maintain a good dialogue with guardians to contribute to a holistic view of the student's schooling and leisure.

Through play, creativity, and learning activities, you contribute to an environment where students have the opportunity to develop both socially and practically.

Qualifications

Requirements: We are looking for a licensed leisure teacher with qualifications in music.

Personal competencies: As a person, you are engaged, responsible, and driven by creating a safe and developmental environment for students.

You have a professional and respectful approach towards both students and colleagues as well as guardians. Even in stressful situations, you remain calm, helpful, and see every meeting as an opportunity to build trust. You are inviting, positive, and care that all students feel safe and seen. With a good pedagogical understanding, you adapt teaching and activities to the children's different needs and create participation through dialogue and curiosity.

Together with colleagues, you work to achieve common goals, contribute to a good working climate, and always keep the student's best interests in focus.

Warm welcome with your application!

To ensure that you, as a newly graduated teacher, get the best possible start in your career, you will be part of the School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction for newly graduated teachers. The introduction provides you as a newly graduated teacher with a network with other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
