Description
We are now starting a new resource school (autumn 2026) that will eventually include students in grades 4–9.
We are currently recruiting teachers to work with students in grades 4–6, and at a later stage, teachers with subject qualifications for grades 7–9 will also be hired. Therefore, all teaching qualifications within the relevant grades will be considered. The operation will gradually be expanded to include 10–15 students.
In the startup phase, the student group consists of five students in grades 4–6, and the operation will then be expanded.
The resource school is designed for students who need extensive individual adaptations – both pedagogically and structurally. Our idea is to offer a small, safe, and cohesive school day where relationships, trust, and a strong focus on knowledge go hand in hand.
Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to help build the operation from the ground up and set the framework for a developing school. Together with colleagues, you will develop working methods, structure, and culture for an operation that includes grades 4–9. During the startup phase, you will teach a smaller student group in grades 4–6 and drive the teaching with a clear and strong focus on knowledge.
In this role, you are responsible for implementing extensive individual adaptations in teaching and creating a predictable, cohesive, and safe school day for the students. You actively work on building relationships and trust and dare to think outside the box and find creative solutions when the situation requires it.
You collaborate closely with colleagues, student health, other staff, and school management, and have a close and continuous collaboration with guardians to create the best conditions for each student's development and learning.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Teaching certification with qualifications in Swedish, mathematics, or English, as well as at least one additional subject in grades 4-6 and/or 7-9
- Experience or interest in working with students who need extensive adaptations. You maintain a focus on knowledge even in adapted teaching forms
- A safe, clear, and relationship-building leadership style
- Very good ability to create trust, safety, and sustainable relationships
- Experience working in teams, close to student health, and is comfortable collaborating with guardians
To fit in this role, you are flexible, solution-focused, and creative. In this recruitment, we place great importance on personal suitability.
Welcome with your application by March 15.
