Music Teacher for Tidanskolan and Värings School

In this role, you will be part of the Child and Education Sector. Our focus is on the development of children and young people. We work with education from preschool to high school and strive for a holistic pedagogical approach from ages 1 to 20. You see digital tools as a natural part of your daily work. Tidanskolan and Värings School are located just outside Skövde and have playgrounds that invite learning, play, and movement. At Värings School, there are about 130 students, and at Tidanskolan, there are about 105 students. Each school has three teams working with students in grades F-3, grades 4-6, and after-school care. All adults share a common responsibility for the students. We value good cooperation with the students' guardians.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your task as a music teacher includes;

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating music education for students in grades 1-6.
• Creating a stimulating learning environment where students can develop their creativity.
• Assessing and documenting students' work and development according to the applicable curriculum.
• Being responsible for music materials and equipment.
• You will collaborate closely with other colleagues at the school and be part of one of the school's teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have;

• Teaching certification with authorization to teach music.
• The ability to inspire and motivate students through creative and pedagogical work.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and guardians.
• An understanding of the school's curriculum and the ability to translate it into practical activities.
