As a craft teacher with us, you will play a central role in the students' creative and practical learning. In our well-equipped classrooms for both textile and wood and metal crafts, ideas take shape. Here, patience, precision, problem-solving, and pride in one's own work are trained.

Your Mission

As a craft teacher at Djupedalskolan, you have a key role in developing students' creative abilities, their perseverance, and confidence in their own competence. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on craft education for grades 4–9 according to the curriculum and course plan. You are expected to:

• Create a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment.
• Develop students' craftsmanship, problem-solving abilities, and creative thinking.
• Work with sustainable development, material knowledge, and aesthetic expressions.
• Adapt teaching so that each student has the opportunity to succeed and develop.
• Assess and document students' knowledge development and communicate this with students and guardians.
• Collaborate in work teams and subject teams to create progression and coherence in students' learning.
• Actively contribute to the school's joint development work.

Requirements for the Position

• Certification with authorization to teach crafts for grades 4–9.
• Good ability to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching based on the curriculum and course plan in crafts.
• Good ability to communicate, document, and collaborate with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Good knowledge of the school's governing documents and mission, as well as the ability to implement them in practice.

To obtain employment, a certificate from the police's criminal record must be presented.
