Description

Torslandaskolan is a F-6 school with approximately 400 students.

The school is newly built and located in central Torslanda. Despite the central location, we are close to forests and nature. We are now looking for two teachers for our after-school care, one starting in May and the other in August. You will work as a teacher in our after-school care and develop and conduct educational work with younger children.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in our after-school care, you will work on developing and conducting educational work together with the team consisting of both primary school teachers and after-school care teachers. You believe it is important to create conditions for all children to have good development in a stimulating environment where play and curiosity are in focus.

Qualifications

You have a pedagogical university degree and preferably experience with children in comparable activities.

You are used to collaborating with different teachers/team and are good at communicating with parents. You fully share the values reflected in the curriculum. The learning of the children is your focus, and you are accustomed to working goal-oriented. You are passionate about providing children with meaningful leisure time and base your planning on their needs and interests. Creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is a given for you. You understand the significance of children's play and movement for learning. You are also flexible and have an easy time taking your own initiatives.

You have experience from educational work with children where you have independently and in groups planned, implemented, and evaluated the work. Other important abilities for you include creating a good working climate, having a low-arousal approach, and enjoying working with people. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
