About the assignment

Bemannia is an authorized staffing company with 35 years of experience in staffing and recruitment. We currently have agreements with, among others, the City of Gothenburg, Kungälv Municipality, Lilla Edet Municipality, Mölndal Municipality, and Orust Municipality to provide engaged teaching assistants to their municipal primary schools.

Your responsibilities

As a teaching assistant, you will follow one or more students during class time and then during after-school activities. As an educator, you will practice low-key interactions and meet the students based on their needs and circumstances.

Examples of tasks:

• Support regular staff in the classroom

• Conduct activities with students according to a plan

• Work together with after-school educators in the after-school program

• Be a playground supervisor outdoors

Your qualifications

• Completed high school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience working in primary schools.

• You should be able to work at least two weekdays per week and be comfortable being booked for shifts on the same morning.

• Good knowledge and work experience with various forms of neurodevelopmental disorders and behavioral issues.

If you are a trained teaching assistant or have experience working as a teaching assistant in primary schools, this is an advantage.
