We are now looking for a teacher in wood and metal crafts as well as technology for a temporary position during the 2026/2027 school year.

About us

Ebba Pettersson's Private School is a school operated as a non-profit foundation. We are a grades F–9 school with approximately 650 students and have a long history as one of Gothenburg's oldest primary schools.

Since the early 2000s, the school has been located in Järnbrott and is characterized by a culture where our traditions and core values permeate the operations: safety, pride, engagement, development, and joy. Together, we work to create a stimulating and safe learning environment where students' curiosity and creativity can thrive.

About the position

The position involves teaching wood and metal crafts as well as technology for students in grades 4–9. You will plan, implement, and follow up on the teaching and collaborate closely with colleagues in work teams and subject groups.

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to teaching that stimulates students' creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• is a certified teacher in crafts (wood and metal) and preferably also in technology
• has experience teaching in grades 4–9
• creates structure, safety, and study peace in the classroom
• collaborates well with colleagues and contributes to the school's development
• is flexible, engaged, and solution-oriented
