About Knappekullaskolan
Knappekullaskolan is centrally located in Lerum with excellent transport links. Interest in the school is high; enrollment is increasing, and we currently have approximately 500 students in grades F-5 and integrated adapted primary education. We maintain excellent cooperation with parents, enjoy a strong reputation, and experience high demand. In recent years, we have actively worked on learning environments (physical, social, and pedagogical) with the goal of enabling our students to reach their full potential. Our school boasts a high proportion of licensed and qualified educators. The teaching team's primary task is to create a holistic approach around the student, working towards accessible learning environments and a clear pedagogical thread for all students according to current curriculum documents.
We have a well-developed student health service with all professions on-site collaborating closely with teaching staff. We are currently in the process of building a new school that will include grades F-9. The new school is expected to be completed in 2027.

Responsibilities
You will be one of the teachers in the Grade 5 team, working collaboratively around the students. Responsibilities include sharing duties, mentorship, and teaching in both whole-class and smaller group settings. Through your engagement, you will lead and stimulate our students towards both academic and social development. Your leadership is characterized by responsiveness to students' individual needs, interests, and development.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to the development of our school for the benefit of our students.
- You hold a teaching license in multiple subjects for grades 4-6 and have experience teaching at the middle school level.
- You are well-versed in current curriculum documents, possess strong collaboration skills, and are communicative.
- You contribute to student development alongside colleagues and can make necessary adaptations based on the needs you encounter. You have an inclusive mindset and the ability to identify how best to meet individual student needs.
- You are flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Through a conscious approach, you create safety, trust, and good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- You view development work as an integral part of the teaching profession and wish to collaborate with the school's other educators. Furthermore, you are clear and structured.
- As digital tools are a vital part of our operations, you must be familiar with ICT.
