About the Education Department
The Education Department is responsible for preschools, open preschools, pedagogical care, after-school centers, preschool classes, primary schools, special needs primary schools, upper secondary schools, special needs upper secondary schools, municipal adult education, Komvux as special education for adults, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), youth centers, open preschools, and music/art schools.
Preschool and after-school center activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, geographically spread throughout the municipality.
Altorp School, the municipality's only grades 7-9 school, accepts students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. Kunskapskällan, the municipality's upper secondary school, is also located in Herrljunga town center.

Job Responsibilities
- Support students in the special needs primary school (grades 7-9) throughout the entire school day.
Qualifications
- Experience working in special needs primary schools or as a student assistant in primary schools.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer. Temporary replacement during regular staff's leave for studies.
In Herrljunga Municipality, full-time is the norm with the possibility of part-time. If full-time assignments are lacking, positions may be combined with other tasks or at another workplace.
