Recruitment: Leisure-Time Centre Teacher with PE Qualification at Valåsskolan
In Mölndal Municipality, we are proud to hold Sweden's most important jobs, where we together create the best possible everyday life for our citizens. With knowledge, courage, and creativity, we develop our operations and contribute to making Mölndal an even better place to live and work. Welcome to make a difference in people's everyday lives every day!
At Valåsskolan, the entire operation is permeated by the guiding words: safety, community, and learning. We are a school for grades F–3 with an associated leisure-time centre, with approximately 150 students and an engaged team of around 25 employees. Together, we create a cohesive and meaningful school day where teaching and leisure-time activities go hand in hand and strengthen each other. Here, students meet adults who collaborate closely, take joint responsibility, and work every day to give all students the best possible conditions to develop and succeed.
The leisure-time centre is an important part of the students' entire day and offers a meaningful, varied, and stimulating activity where play, movement, creativity, and social learning are in focus. We actively work to strengthen students' language, relationships, and participation, and we strive to make learning visible and accessible in both teaching and leisure-time activities.
We have a clear focus on movement and active breaks, where organized break activities and student participation contribute to increased well-being and safety. Through a relational approach and close collaboration between the school's various professions, we work to ensure that every student succeeds and develops based on their individual conditions.
With us, you become part of an operation characterized by engagement, collegial learning, and a shared responsibility for the school's development.
In Mölndal Municipality's School Administration, we work every day to create the best possible conditions for children and students' development and lifelong learning. With approximately 2,000 engaged employees and 12,000 children and students in our operations, we are Mölndal's largest administration - and a hub for future education. Here, you become part of a curious, brave, and solution-focused organization where innovation is encouraged and the best interests of the child always come first.
