Description

Lyrfågelskolan is located in the eastern part of Trollhättan and is a K-9 school. We have just over 1,050 students, and the school is divided into three units: K-3, 4-6, and 7-9.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a committed and secure student support assistant for our operations at Lyrfågelskolan 7-9. The role involves supporting students in daily teaching, both pedagogically and socially, to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

You will provide support to students in the classroom and/or in other school environments and contribute to a positive and structured school day. You will help students follow the lessons and develop learning strategies. Together with the team, you will develop the educational activities. You work well in a team but can also take responsibility on your own and should be a good adult role model in everything you do.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• Education as a student assistant, support pedagogue, or other training deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disorders.
• Good ability to build relationships and adapt support to individual needs.
• Patience, flexibility, and a solution-oriented approach.
• Experience working with older students in middle school with problematic schooling and in need of special support is an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
