Special Teacher at Toltorpsskolan

In Mölndal municipality, we are proud to have Sweden's most important jobs where we together create the best possible everyday life for our citizens. With knowledge, courage, and creativity, we develop our operations and contribute to making Mölndal an even better place to live and work. Welcome to make a difference in people's everyday lives every day!

Toltorpsskolan is a F-5 school with about 280 students, of which approximately 230 are in after-school activities. The school is located in the scenic Toltorpsdalen with the forest at its doorstep, inviting many opportunities within the educational mission. The school is organized into work teams with a mix of teachers and leisure educators who share the day together. A total of 38 educators work at the school. The school's student health team includes a school psychologist, counselor, school nurse, and a special teacher. For us at Toltorpsskolan, the whole and the joint work around our students is an important starting point, from which we base our operations on our governing documents and the school's own value words: responsibility, participation, respect, safety, and community.

We show respect and consideration for our different professional roles, base our work on everyone's equal value, and create a good atmosphere in meetings, both among students and adults. We work together for an open and positive attitude and consciously work with a norm-critical approach and a low-arousal response with the student's needs as the starting point. We actively work with dialogue, participation, engagement, and cohesion in the workgroup and see experiences rather than failures as something to learn from and develop.

In Mölndal municipality's school administration, we work every day to create the best conditions for children's and students' development and lifelong learning. With about 2,000 dedicated employees and 12,000 children and students in our operations, we are Mölndal's largest administration - and a hub for the education of the future. Here you become part of a curious, brave, and solution-focused organization where innovation is encouraged and the child's best always comes first.
