You will lead the educational work together with colleagues in an engaged team. Together, you will plan, implement, document, and follow up on the education based on the preschool's curriculum. Gitarrgatans Preschool opened in January 2025 and is a new, modern preschool spread over two floors, and we are now expanding with an additional department. We work in large teams that are divided into duos, where each preschool teacher works together with an experienced childcare worker – 50% preschool teacher density.

Our guiding principles are Communication, Collaboration, and Joy, with a focus on relational and trust-based leadership. We work health-promoting and language-developing, striving to give each child the right conditions to become an independent individual.

As a preschool teacher, you will be part of a strong collegial context with lead preschool teachers and weekly development meetings where we collectively drive the operations forward.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher with the ability to create good collaborations and relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are a confident leader and a good role model for both children and adults, with the ability to create a positive and developing environment where children can grow at their own pace.

You can plan, implement, document, and analyze the operations according to the preschool's curriculum and other governing documents. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable using digital tools in your work.

Meritorious:

• Experience working in large teams/duos.
• Experience working with and driving outdoor education or adventure pedagogy.
• Experience opening a new department or preschool.

We are responsible for education and care for about 25,000 children in nearly 350 municipal preschools. The administration has around 7,000 employees distributed across about 75 professions.
