Timmersdala School is a F-6 school, beautifully located in the community of Timmersdala, near Lake Lången. We are a small but dedicated school that offers a safe and stimulating learning environment where each student has the opportunity to develop according to their conditions. The advantages of a small school create a strong bond between students, staff, and guardians. Here we take joint responsibility for the well-being, development, and learning of the students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now strengthening our organization with a special education teacher. At Timmersdala School, we currently have just over 140 students and a stable staff. Our special educator looks forward to strengthening the special educational competence at the school together with us. You will be part of our student health team. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum and the Education Act. You keep yourself updated on new research and findings within special education and share your theoretical knowledge and pedagogical competence. You observe, document, follow up, write action plans, and conduct and analyze screenings and other assessments in collaboration with your colleagues in the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is desirable that you have a teaching license with the authority to teach in grades F-6 or equivalent, as well as a special education degree with a specialization in language, writing, and reading development or mathematics development. We warmly welcome your application.

To start working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other educational activities, you must show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the Swedish Police Authority www.polisen.se (http://www.polisen.se).
