JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help shape the future school in Skövde?

We are now looking for an engaged teacher in social studies who wants to join us on the exciting journey of starting Skövde's new middle school, Science City School, with a planned school start in the autumn of 2027.

The position is initially placed at Eriksdalskolan's middle school, where we currently have about 150 students and a warm, competent staff group consisting of teachers, student assistants, student health, principal, and vice principal. Together, we have already begun the work of shaping the new school and are now looking for a colleague who wants to contribute with both engagement and innovative thinking. We are a growing school, and today we have certified teachers in textile crafts, home economics, and physical education who will be close colleagues in the practical/esthetic subject development.

As a teacher with us, you will have great opportunities to influence:

• How our learning environments and physical premises should be designed. How do you want the learning environments in the woodwork classroom to look? You will have significant opportunities to influence planning, furnishings, and material choices.
